At Val’s place we know that a good home for children and young people isn’t complicated, but that’s not to say that it’s easy. What we believe in is caring. Caring honestly, caring consistently, caring conspicuously, caring personally, and yes when it comes to it, caring fiercely.
Validate: Understanding what someone can do in society, knowing where they fit, and where society can fit for them.
Achieve: Having a clear understanding of what represents an outcome, an achievement, the bit that makes you feel warm inside.
Live: The point at which people aren’t scared of you because of a label but include you because of your value.
